What sponsorship is

Sponsoring Crowdsource the Truth costs $5 a month or $50 a year, in US dollars. It opens the sponsor-exclusive episodes in the Watch library and the iFIT Pro tools in the 3D viewer for as long as it is paid. Sponsorship supports independent journalism. It buys no say over what is investigated or published.

Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your sponsorship renews automatically, each month or each year on the date you joined, until you cancel. You can switch between monthly and yearly from your account; Stripe credits the unused part of the current period. We may change the price; if we do, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account (Manage billing or cancel). Access continues to the end of the month or year you have paid for, and no further payments are taken. Payments are generally non-refundable, including for partly used periods, except where the law requires otherwise. If something has gone wrong with a payment, contact us.

Your account

You sign in with your email address; we email you a link or code. A sponsorship is for one person. Please keep sign-in emails to yourself.

Sponsor-exclusive content

Sponsor episodes and iFIT Pro exports are for your personal viewing. Please don't re-upload or redistribute sponsor-exclusive episodes. Videos you make with iFIT Pro may be shared, with credit to Crowdsource the Truth.

Changes and availability

We work to keep the site and the library available but can't promise uninterrupted access. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. We may end a sponsorship that is used to abuse the site or other people, refunding any unused paid time.

Scenarios are interactive studies for investigation, not findings.
